Forgiveness
I thought this week about focusing on "forgiveness". We all have situations or people in our lives that have caused us un-necessary pain - or hurt us in one way or another... even me!
I needed to forgive someone that had hurt me this week... I felt in my heart that life is too short - and that I would be the better person and forgive them for what they had done.... And in turn, that too would make me feel better and lift the heavy feeling I was feeling within myself.
I did everything that I said in my article this week - and it worked... I repeated the physical steps of identifying the places in my body that I felt the hurt and pain and then made a conscious decision to let go... to let go of those destructive hurtful feelings and free myself from the feelings the person had caused me to have. I realised that I am the only one who can decide how I feel - and if I let someone - or allow someone to affect me - then that is my decision. However - if I decide NOT to allow whatever anyone else says or does to affect me... then that too is my decision! I am in control of myself.
After I had completed all the steps as laid out in my article, I felt instantly better - and so I wanted to share it with all of you....
