Make your life plan.... NOW!

Having a plan confirms to your subconscious mind that you have a reason, a purpose and that you are on the pathway to achieving whatever it is that you want for your life. We all need structure in our lives - a little guide and direction to where we are heading - and having a plan... something we can refer to, to keep us on track. It's so important to have goals... ambitions... to know what you want to make of this life and in which direction you are heading.... Cos if you don't know the way... how on earth are you ever going to get there? Its kinda like if you were going to drive from New York to Los Angles.... You would have to plan your way there - a map of the directions, the towns you would pass on the way etc... Now if you didn't make that map - that plan....god knows where you would end up?!?!

The point is - that you can't just sail through life - allowing whatever happens to just happen... "But hey, I'm a laid back person, what's meant to be will be" I hear some of you say.... Well that's great and all - I'm a pretty laid back and relaxed person to - and I also believe what's meant to be will be... but that still doesn't take away from the fact that you gotta have a plan and you gotta go out there and find what's meant for you - it rarely just falls into your lap! You have to be in control of your life and make it happen - and not waste precious time hanging around for your goals to eventually smack you across the head when your 96 years old and it's too late to enjoy them to the max!

Having a plan shows that you have taken the time to think about where you are right now in your life and where you are heading. The things that you would like to do, see and achieve. There's no time like the present - so get a pen and paper and do it now.... What would you like to achieve in your life? Make a list of your goals and aspirations. Keep them realistic. If you make a plan that is unrealistic then it will be very hard to achieve - so keep it real! Now... you need to plan the steps you would need to take in order to make your goals and your plan, become a reality. Plans are achieved by taking little steps forward towards the end goal. So have a short term plan, a medium term plan and a long term plan. A plan is not just an ideal dream... like winning the lotto - that's a dream! No a plan is something that you can do and intend to do, rather than something you would just like to happen.

Now just because you have this life plan doesn't mean that you have to be totally rigid and completely stick to it.... No sireeee - the plan can change!! Yep - as we grow older our thoughts change, our goals change and sometimes even our direction in life changes... and when that happens - just change the plan.... You see what I'm saying here? A Plan isn't set in stone for ever... it's just something that keeps you on track, like a guideline to your life. It's something that you can refer to if you get those overwhelming feelings or if you feel a little lost in this big crazy thing we call life.

A plan can jig our memory into what we want for our lives and why we are here. It can help you get your mind back in focus and motivate you to continue on, step by little step into achieving everything that you want in this life.
So, If you really want to make something of your life - make a plan, including the step by step action you will need to do to get there... and someday -I have no doubt in my mind - you will have ticked off everything on that plan of yours that you make today - and have made many many more plans for your future...!
